Clutch Time

NBA 2K23’s MyTeam mode has a new way to get top-tier player cards. Fans can now send their players on exhibition missions around the world, with each trip resulting in a unique reward. Those rewards can be used to upgrade the player’s stats and attributes.
Completing team-specific challenges can earn players rewards like MyTeam reward cards, badges, and tokens. These challenges will test the player’s skills in a variety of ways, including blocking shots, points in the paint, 3-pointers, and rebounds.
One interesting addition is a Spotlight Challenge featuring Lil Wayne. It’s not clear if the rapper will be a playable character, but it will be cool to see him dunking on opposing players. Players can also now send their player cards out on Exhibition missions around the world and earn special rewards by visiting locations like Honolulu, Rio de Janeiro, or Paris. Trophies are back too, with those who rank in the top 10 for the season earning a special icon displayed next to their name on leaderboards. And finally, players can now save defensive settings in a game.
